The Salesian school Maria Ausiliatrice is situated in via Dalmazia 12 in the Trieste district, Rome. It is located in the district II and is part of the school district X.
More than 750 students, generally coming from the districts II, III, IV and V, attend our school.
The students carry with them the positivity and the contradictions of our times, which is an ongoing educational challenge.
Our school, which is faithful to the teachings of St. John Bosco and St. Mary Mazzarello, admits also students from the poorer layers of society and from different countries.
The Salesian values
Religion, reason and loving-kindness: these are the principles of the Salesian preventive system. A system which merges education with the fundamental and life-long values.
The Christian principles and values have a key educational role.
Our school fosters all the activities, the aim of which is helping sociability and creating a connection between the youth and the world. Theatre, music and sport are essential tools for the growth because they stimulate friendship and enhance common projects, in which the potentialities, the will and the commitment of everyone reach their full potential.
The educational choices
The school Maria Ausiliatrice makes specific educational choices:
Entertainment as a method through which the educational objectives and needs can be achieved. In fact, entertaining means promoting the human beings from inside and hence making them protagonists little by little.
Celebration as pedagogy of joy is a vital aspect within the Salesian youth spirituality, the aim of which is help the youth live everyday life with joy and bring them up to hope.
The group as an educational space in which people bond relationships and young people grow up in their identities, sociality and independence.
Our educational choices are connected with these values, hence establishing an interaction between values, knowledge and skills.
